I help people reach goals in everyday life such as overcoming fears and phobias (for example. fear of flying, fear of heights, fear of the dark, fear of dentists etc), changing bad habits, alleviating stress, anxiety (for example work-related stress, driving test nerves, interview anxiety, panic attacks overwhelmed by work/life), worrying, IBS, insomnia and sleep disorders.

My caring, practical and down-to-earth approach makes it easy for clients to understand their problematic patterns of behaviour.  Using cognitive techniques, relaxation and hypnosis, my collaborative, step-by-step treatment plan helps clients make changes to achieve their goals.
 
My background is quite different. I spent twenty years working in the financial services sector  of the City of London observing how stress in the modern workplace, balancing home and work-life and just life in general can lead to many problems like anxiety, insomnia and developing bad habits like smoking and overeating.  These problems affected so many people that I decided there must be straight-forward ways of helping people make significant and lasting changes in life without it feeling like a huge ordeal. 
 
So I retrained and studied Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy at the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy.  The course is externally verified by the NCFE (a Government recognised national awarding body) and mapped against the National Occupational Standards. The course is accredited by The National Council for Hypnotherapy, The Register for Evidence-Based Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, The General Hypnotherapy Register, the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (UK) and The Hypnotherapy Society.
 
This centre emphasises the use of evidence-based techniques in hypnotherapy in order to achieve mutually agreed and realistic goals.   Which means I focus on the 'here and now', focusing on what stops an individual from changing their habits and overcoming their fears today, rather than using approaches like 'past life regression'.  Whatever the origins of a problem, the reasons an individual continues with problematic behaviour are often quite different.  Whilst respecting everyones' views of life, healing and personal growth, my approach is based firmly on proven techniques.  
 
My hypnotherapy clinics are at Harley Street, the City of London, Victoria and Barbican.
