Insomnia and Sleep Hygiene Rules

Do you have trouble falling asleep or wake up in the middle of the night and can't
   fall asleep again?
Has your GP has ruled out any medical conditions?
Are you following these simple Sleep Hygiene Rules?

Sleep Hygiene Tips

To start with, make sure you follow these simple rules:-
  1.   Go to bed and wake up at the same time every night
  2.   No napping during the day, no matter how tired you are
  3.   Do not drink coffee six hours before bedtime
  4.   Do not smoke before bedtime (it's a stimulant)
  5.   Avoid heavy meals before bedtime
  6.   Avoid exercising late in the evening (within 4 hours of bedtime)
  7.   Avoid drinking too much alcohol. You may fall asleep quickly but wake up             dehydrated during the night
  8.   Make sure your bedroom is conducive to sleep, not too noisy, warm, cold etc

Cognitive Hypnotherapy

If you still have trouble getting a good night's sleep, cognitive hypnotherapy may be
the solution.  Even if you do not know much about hypnotherapy, you are probably
aware that it can be used for relaxation.  Your beliefs and attitudes are probably
   contributing to your sleeping issues.

Cognitive hypnotherapy is a safe, effective, natural way of helping you sleep.
Tailored treatment plans include cognitive restructuring,  progressive muscle
   relaxation and hypnotherapy.
