Breaking Bad Habits

 Typical bad habits are:-
  • nail-biting
  • hair-pulling
  • teeth-grinding (bruxism)
  • overeating
  • cheek-biting
  • nervous tics
  • stuttering
  • many more

Habits are learned patterns of behaviour and are often to linked to anxiety, boredom and loneliness.

When you learned how to drive a car, you concentrated on everything you needed to do, such as gear
changing, checking mirrors, using controls and watching the road and so on until eventually you practised
so much that it became a habit.

In a similar way, you have established bad habits which you now want to remove.

We will use habit reversal methods to replace your bad habit with a good habit.

Habit reversal involves awareness training to monitor the habit, identify triggers and associated
behaviours, learn hypnosis and self-hypnosis to relax and repeatedly engage in competing behaviour until
it became habitual, feels automatic and natural.

I have hypnotherapy clinics across London:-
