Before your appointment:-
Before deciding if treatment is appropriate, we have a telephone consultation (no charge obviously), to
discuss your habits and motivation.
If we both agree you are sufficiently motivated, I will set you some simple preparation tasks before
meeting. This is to help 'destabilise' your habit and to use the information in our session.
We will have two to three sessions depending on circumstances and issues. After the first session, I will
email you a tailored recording for you to listen to every day until you become a non-smoker by the end of
your last session.
You will have back-up after leaving. I will email you another recording to help you through unforseen
circumstances. Ideally I like to teach self-hypnosis to clients during sessions so clients can use this
whenever they choose to.
Do not be put off because your previous attempts have not succeeded. Those attempts taught you more
about your habit and we can use that information in our sessions.
