Stress, Anxiety and Panic Attacks

 Stress and Anxiety can be conquered with hypnotherapy               
  Almost everyone has felt stress at some point in their lives.
  Stress is when you feel under pressure.
  A little pressure can be motivating.
  However excessive or persistent pressure may lead to stress which can
  have negative effects on your mind and body.
 
 
 
 
   Symptoms vary for individuals and may include:-
 
    • feeling unable to cope
    • anger
    • anxiety
    • increased/decreased appetite
    • frequent crying
    • tiredness
    • insomnia
    • difficulty concentrating
    • worrying
    • breathlessness
    • sweating
    • nervous twitching
    • many other symptoms

  All forms of stress are so common these days that finding an effective way of dealing with stress can feel
  like a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders.
 
  Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy involves a combination of relaxation techniques, cognitive
  techniques,  hypnotic suggestions, replacing unhelpful patterns of thinking with realistic and rational
  ways of dealing with life.  The sessions are tailored to suit the individual and their issues. 
 
  Perhaps you're facing redundancy and the thought of an interview is worrying or even terrifying.   
  Maybe you suffer from panic attacks? Maybe you have to give a presentation (performance
  anxiety) or maybe you just feel stressed every single day and you don't know what to do about it.
 
  Why do people react differently to the same stressful situations?  Everyone is different and had
  different experiences.  Together we identify triggers to understand your reactions and thoughts.  You 
  may have single triggers such as a job or home-life issues or it may be an accumulation of small triggers
  building into an overwhelming reaction.  
 
  Mental stress often causes physical stress which in turn creates a vicious circle of negative thinking and
  behaviour.  Chronic stress can lead to health problems.

  Whatever the causes, once we identify the triggers, we work together to break that cycle.
 
  I'll show you how to relax you body quickly and deeply, loosening your muscles (hypnotic relaxation)  
  which will help you think more clearly. 
 
  You can then replace unwanted, unhelpful thoughts. 
 
  Under hypnosis, you will rehearse acting calmly and competently to the same situations whilst remaining
  relaxed mentally and physically. 
 
  Using cognitive techinques,  we work together to identify how your thinking affects your daily life.   
 
  Step-by-step, you apply what you learn to real life situations.
 
  The skills I teach you are effective, straight-forward, simple to master and easily incorporated into
  your life.
